About Carelec
A change of direction meant a change of career for myself when I decided to become an electrician. Having always been a practical person, I knew I had the patience and skills necessary to re-train and eventually become my own boss.
So in September 2005 I went to Bournemouth and Poole college to study to gain the qualifications needed to become an Electrician. In My first year I gained the City and Guilds 2330 - Electrotechnical Certificate Levels 1 and 2. In my second year I went to Weymouth College where I completed the 2330 Level 3 qualification. My reason for going to Weymouth was that they would allow me to study for two courses alongside each other. So during my second year of study I also gained the 2381 and 2391 qualifications.
I have now just sat the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations update course at a training centre in Yeovil.
Running my own business has provided me with great flexibility, but it also means I can treat my customers with respect and I am always happy to explain exactly what is involved. By taking the time to discuss problems, I am certain my customers can make an informed choice - both for their budget and their electrical requirements.
Electricity can be dangerous and I always give priority to call-outs which are assessed to put either life or property at risk.
So, when you need an electrician who won’t leave you in the dark, please give me a call.
